  Jamie Asciolla

Jazz, Tap, Pop Jazz, Acro, Pre-School, Tiny-Tots

Jamie is a sophomore at URI studying anthropology and has been dancing at Kats Dance Centre for six years. When she first started she took jazz and hip hop, then after three years started taking pop jazz instead of hip hop. Upon joining the company she took ballet and fell more in love with dance. This is Jamie’s second year as an assistant. Now in college, Jamie comes home twice a week to go to dance. Along with going home, she also dances at URI, although it is not the same as dancing at Kats. There is seriously a big difference not only in styles, but in atmosphere. Because of that, she doesn’t mind the endless bus rides to and from school because at the end of the day she gets to do the one thing she loves to do, dance.
